In July 2013, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was 97.28 or decreased
by 1.15 percent compared to NTP June 2013. This is due to the rise in the price index
received by farmers by 0.65 percent less than the increase in index paid by farmers
which rose by 1.82 percent. This figure is the lowest number over the last two years.
Viewed from 5 (five) sub-sectors, there are 4 (four) sub-sectors of Agriculture experiencing NTP decrease, ie
Food Crops subsector which decreased by 1.57 percent, Subsector Plantation of Smallholder Plantation
(TPR) which decreased by 2.32 percent, Livestock sub-sector decreased by 0.08 percent and Subsector
Fisheries rose by 0.37 percent. While the Subsector that experienced an increase is
Horticulture subsector increased by 0.18 percent.
In July 2013, the farmer's price index (IT) rose by 0.65 percent compared to IT
June 2013. IT upgrades are due to the four subsectors experienced an increase in IT.
Food Crops Subsector increased by 0.15 percent, Horticulture Subsector increased by 1.89 percent,
Livestock subsector increased by 1.93 percent and fisheries sub-sector rose by 1.10 percent.
While the only subsector that experienced IT decline was the Plant Subsector
People's Plantation (TPR), which decreased by 0.27 percent.
The price index paid by farmers (IB) July 2013 increased by 1.82 percent compared to June 2013.
This increase is due to the increase of IB in the five subsectors of the Crop sub-sector
Food increased by 1.74 percent, Horticulture subsector rose by 1.71 percent, sub-sector
Smallholder Plantation (TPR), which rose by 2.10 percent, Livestock subsector increased by
2.01 per cent and the Fisheries Subsector rose by 1.48 per cent.
Changes in Household Consumption Index (KRT) reflects the Inflation / Deflation figures in the region
Rural. In July 2013 there was an increase of 1.99 percent. This increase is caused by
the increase of seven groups of household consumption ie Foodstuff category rose by 2.45
percent, So Food group rose by 1.09 percent, the housing group rose by 0.47
percent, Sandang group rose by 0.23 percent, Health group rose by 0.92 percent,
Education, Recreation & Sports group rose by 0.27 percent and Transportation &
Communication rose by 8.35 percent.
In July 2013, the National NTP was 104.58 percent or down 0.67 percent compared to June
2013. This is because the price index received by farmers rose by 2.28 percent lower
of an increase in the price index paid by farmers which rose by 2.97 percent.
