Abstract

In October 2013, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was recorded at 98.15 or experienced
an increase of 0.95 percent compared to NTP September 2013. This is due to the Index
the price received by farmers rose by 0.76 percent while the index paid by farmers fell
by 0.19 percent.
 Viewed from 5 (five) subsectors, four sub-sectors of Agriculture experienced an increase in NTP, subsector
Food crops increased by 1.43 percent, horticulture subsector rose by 0.47
percent, sub sector of Plantation (TPR), which rose by 0.55 percent and sub-sector
Livestock increased by 1.04 percent. While the fishery sub-sector decreased by
0.46 percent.
 In October 2013, the price index received by farmers (IT) rose by 0.76 percent compared
with IT in September 2013. The IT upgrade is due to four subsectors
IT improvements. Food Crops Subsector increased by 1.31 percent, Horticulture Subsector rose
by 0.21 percent, the Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (TPR) increased by 0.34 percent and
Livestock subsector rose by 0.71 percent. While the fisheries sub-sector decreased by 0.59
percent.
 The price index paid by farmers (IB) In October 2013 decreased by 0.19 percent compared
September 2013. This decrease is due to the decrease of IB in the five subsectors. Subsectors
Food Crops fell by 0.12 percent, Horticulture Subsector decreased by 0.26, Subsector
Smallholder Plantation (TPR), which decreased by 0.21 percent, Livestock Sub-sector decreased
by 0.33 percent and the Fisheries Sub-sector decreased by 0.14 percent.
 Changes in Household Consumption Index (KRT) reflects the Inflation / Deflation figures in the region
Rural. In October 2013 there was a decrease of 0.31 percent. This decrease is caused by
declining Foodstuffs group which fell by 0.97 percent. Although the six groups
other household consumption has increased. So Food Group rose by 0.71
percent, Housing group rose by 0.57 percent, Sandang group rose by 0.39 percent,
Health group rose by 0.50 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports group rose by
0.43 percent and the Transportation & Communications group rose by 0.35 percent.
 In October 2013, the National NTP was 105.30 percent or up 0.71 percent compared to the month
September 2013. This is because the price index received by farmers rose by 1.01 percent
higher than the rise in the price index paid by farmers which rose by 0.30 percent.
