Abstract

Sampit City ranks 66th highest inflation city in Indonesia with inflation of 0.09 percent in January 2021 influenced by an increase in the price index in the food and beverage / restaurant supply group (0.34 percent), the food, beverage and tobacco group (0 , 33 percent), the equipment, tools and household maintenance group (0.32 percent), the clothing and footwear group (0.16 percent), the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group

other households (0.09 percent), the health group (0.08 percent), the personal care and other services group (0.06 percent) and the information, communication and financial services group (0.05 percent).

The commodities that had the highest share of a significant increase in the price index in Sampit City during January 2021 were cayenne pepper, tuna / ambu fish, filter clove cigarettes, red chilies, tomatoes, respectively.
