Abstract

Total export value rose 70.58 percent from US $ 125.63 million (December 2017) to US $ 214.30 million (January 2018). Compared to the same month of the year then, its value rose 8.14 percent from US $ 206.16 million (January 2017) to US $ 214.30 million (January 2018)
Mineral fuel becomes a commodity export commodity (US $ 124.59 million), or 58.14 percent of total exports.
Japan is a major export destination country (US $ 91.76 million), or 42.82 percent of total exports.
Sampit being the main export port of export commodities (US $ 22.19 million), or 10.35 percent of total exports.
Total import value rose 24.96 percent from US $ 6.77 million (December 2017) to US $ 8.46 million (January 2018). Compared to the same month last year, its value slumped 31.94 percent from US $ 12.43 million (January 2017) to U $ 8.46 million (January 2018).
Foreign trade balance during January 2018, a surplus of US $ 205.84 million.
