Abstract

Total export value increased 9.33 percent from US $ 129.37 million (October 2017) to US $ 141.44 million (November 2017).
  • Fats and animal / vegetable oils are still export commodities worth US $ 39.62 million, or 28.01 percent of total exports.
  • Japan is the largest export share country worth US $ 45.56 million, or 32.21 percent of total exports.
  • The role of ports in Kalimantan Tengah in foreign trade transactions is only 37.88 percent (November 2017) and 31.69 percent (January-November 2017).
  • Cumulatively, total exports rose 100.26 percent from US $ 833.36 million (from January to November 2016) to US $ 1,668.87 million (from January to November 2017).
  • Total imports were US $ 4.80 million (November 2017) and U $ 61.74 million (January-November 2017). The surplus in foreign trade balance is due to the low spending of capital goods imports over the past 11 months.
