Abstract

The number of sea transport passengers was 21,941 people, down 14.76 percent compared to the previous month totaling 25,740 people.
  • The flow of goods traffic by sea was recorded at 1.35 million tons,  up 6.71 percent compared to the previous month. Volume unload down 6.51 percent while the volume of loads rose 12.24 percent.
  • Flight frequency fell by 10.05 percent, from 2,319 flights during August 2017 to 2.086 flight during September 2017.
  • The number of air transport passengers was recorded at 162,989 people, down 4.57 percent over the previous month which amounted to 170,792 people.
  • The flow of goods by air traffic recorded 1,804 tons,down 3.86 percent compared to the previous month.Unloading volume and loading down each item by 0.92 percent and 9.24 percent.
  • The highest contribution of sea flight traffic flow dominated by Kumai and Sampit ports. Activity passengers through Kumai (62.80 percent) and goods through Sampit (48.39 percent). Through the airport,  dominated by Tjilik Riwut is passenger (53.04 percent) and goods (59.03 percent).
