Abstract

The number of sea freight passengers dropped by 4.79 percent from 17,721 (October 2017) to 16,872 (November 2017).
  • Traffic flow of goods by sea was 1.40 million tons, up 4.85 percent compared to the previous month. The increase came from the goods loading volume of 11.20 percent
  • Flight frequency rose 3.88 percent, from 1,932 flights (October 2017) to 2,007 flights (November 2017).
  • The number of air transport passengers increased by 5.62 percent from 156,483 people (October 2017) to 165,277 people (November 2017).
  • The flow of goods traffic through the air was recorded 1770 tons, up 1.88 percent compared to the previous month. The increase came from the volume of unloading of goods (2.66 percent) and loading goods (0.34 percent).
  • The highest contribution of sea freight traffic is dominated by Kumai and Sampit ports. Passenger activity through Kumai (54.17 percent) and goods through Sampit (43.28 percent). Through the airport, Tjilik Riwut dominated by passengers (54.39 percent) and goods (60.15 percent).
