Abstract

The number of sea transport passengers was 17,721 people, down 19.23 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 21,941 people.
The flow of goods traffic by sea was recorded at 1.33 million tons,down 1.29 percent compared to the previous month. Volume unloading up 13.02 percent while the volume dropped 6.28 percent.
Flight frequency down 7.38 percent, from 2.086 flights during September 2017 to 1,932 flight during October 2017.
The number of air transport passengers was recorded at 156,483 people, down 3.99 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 162,989 people.
The flow of goods traffic through the air was recorded 1737 tons, down 3.67 percent compared to the previous month. Volume loading and unloading each item for 3.72 percent and 3.55 percent.
The highest contribution of sea transport traffic flow is dominated by Kumai and Sampit ports. Passenger activity through Kumai (62.94 percent) and goods through Sampit (51.29 percent). Through the airport, dominated by Tjilik Riwut that is passenger (55,84 percent) and goods (61.66 percent).
