Abstract

➢ The number of sea transport passengers was 73,700 people, up 96.74 percent compared to 37,461 the previous month.

➢ Traffic flow of goods through sea transport was recorded at 1.18 million tons, down 15.74 percent
compared to the previous month. Loading and unloading volume decreased by 39.95
percent and 3.55 percent.

➢ The frequency of flights increased 11.62 percent, from 1,894 flights during June 2017 to
2,114 flights during July 2017.

➢ The number of air transport passengers was recorded at 178,951 people, up 25.33 percent compared to the month
previously amounted to 142,782 people.

➢ The flow of goods traffic through the airport was recorded at 2,127 tons, up 31.62 percent compared to the previous month. The volume of unloading and loading of goods increased by
55.21 percent and 1.82 percent.

➢ The contribution of sea freight traffic is dominated by Kumai and Sampit ports. Current
The highest passengers are through Kumai with 58.96 percent and the highest loading / unloading through Sampit of 44.68 percent. Meanwhile, passenger traffic flows and
goods through the air ports are predominantly Tjilik Riwut of 47.96 percent and respectively
52.40 percent.
