Abstract

  • Among 82 sample city that monitoring for national IHK (Indeks Harga Konsumen/ Consumer Price Index), 62 city have inflation and 20 have deflation. The highest inflation happened in Manado amount 1,16 percent and highest deflation in Jambi amount 1,40 percent.
  • Both Palangkaraya and Sampit have inflation amount 0,27 percent, it placed on ranking 44 and 45 between another city.
  • The inflation of Palangkaraya mainly effected by increased of price index in housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (1,83 percent), transportation, communication, and finance services (0,68 percent), and healthy (0,65 percent).
  • The inflation of Sampit mainly effected by the increased of price index in housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (0,78 percent), transportation, communication, and finance services (0,54 percent), and healthy (0,19 percent).
  • The inflation/deflation in Kalimantan Tengah is the result of combining two city (Palangkaraya and Sampit). During January 2017, the inflation reach 0,27 percent. Year calendar and Inflation growth both of them amount 1,15 percent and 3,35  percent.
  • The inflation/deflation in nine city of Kalimantan are Pontianak (0,36 percent), .Tanjung (0,32 percent), Palangkaraya (0,27 percent), Sampit (0,27 percent), Banjarmasin (0,20 percent), Singkawang (0,19), Samarinda (0,13 percent),  Tarakan (0,04 percent) and Balikpapan (-0,26 percent).
