Abstract

During January 2017, Palangkaraya and Sampit inflation amount 0,85 and 0,91 percent.
  • Among 82 sample city that monitoring for national IHK (Indeks Harga Konsumen/ Consumer Price Index), the highest inflation happened in Pontianak amount 1,82 percent and the lowest in Manado amount 0,09 percent.
  • Palangkaraya and Sampit have inflation each of them was 0,85 percent and 0,91 percent, it placed on ranking 48th and 43th for high inflation city compare the rest.
  • The inflation of Palangkaraya mainly effected by increased of price index in housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (1,90 percent), transportation, communication, and finance services (1,16 percent), foods material(0,89 percent).
  • The inflation of Sampit mainly effected by the increased of price index in housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (1,94 percent), tuition fee, recreation, and sport (1,56 percent), transportation, communication, and finance service (0,93 percent), foods material (0,70 percent). 
  • The growth of inflation of Kalimantan Tengah Province amount 0,87 percent with year on year inflation growth amount 2,63 percent.
  • The inflation/deflation in nine city of Kalimantan are Pontianak (1,82 percent), Singkawang (1,76 percent), Balikpapan (1,08 percent), Samarinda (1,02 percent), Banjarmasin (0,94 percent), Sampit (0,91 percent), Palangkaraya (0,85 percent), Tanjung (0,77 percent), dan Tarakan (0,69 percent).
