Abstract

During December 2016, Palangkaraya and Sampit Have inflation amount 1,28 percent and 1,30 percent.
  • Among 82 sample city that monitoring for national IHK (Indeks Harga Konsumen/ Consumer Price Index), 78 city have inflation and 4 have deflation. The highest inflation happened in Lhokseumawe amount 2,25 percent and highest deflation in Manado amount 1,52 percent.
  • Palangkaraya and Sampit have inflation each of them was 1,28 percent and 1,30 percent, it placed on ranking 8 and 7 for high inflation city compare the rest.
  • The inflation of Palangkaraya mainly effected by increased of price index in foods material(3,70 percent), transportation, communication, and finance services (1,42 percent), foods, drinks, cigarette and tobacco (0,69 percent), housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (0,35 percent), and healthy (0,30 percent).
  • The inflation of Sampit mainly effected by the increased of price index in foods material (4,10 percent), transportation, communication, and finance service (1,16 percent), healthy (0,33 percent), clothing (0,11 percent),and foods, drinks, cigarette and tobacco (0,09 percent).
  • The inflation/deflation in Kalimantan Tengah is the result of combining two city (Palangkaraya and Sampit). During December 2016, the inflation reach 1,29 percent. Year calendar and Inflation growth both of them amount 2,11  percent.
  • The inflation/deflation in nine city of Kalimantan are Sampit (1,30 persen), Palangkaraya (1,28 persen), Balikpapan (1,26 persen), Tanjung (1,02 persen), Pontianak (0,93persen), Samarinda (0,87 persen), Singkawang (0,83persen), Banjarmasin (0,82persen), dan Tarakan (0,41 persen).
