Abstract

Among 82 national CPI monitoring cities, all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tarakan (2.71 percent) and the lowest inflation in Pekanbaru (0.01 percent)

Inflation occurred in Palangka Raya (1.14 percent) and Sampit (1.82 percent). Both cities are ranked 17th and 7th of the city's highest inflation at the national level

Inflation in Palangka Raya was mainly influenced by the rise in the price index in the transportation, communication and financial services group (4.00 percent) and foodstuff (1.61 percent)

Inflation in Sampit was mainly influenced by increases in the price index in transportation, communication and financial services categories (4.38 percent), foodstuff (3.25 percent), and clothing (1.30 percent)

Kalimantan Tengah, combined Palangka Raya and Sampit, inflation (1.39 percent) followed by year-on-year inflation rate (3.13 percent) and year-on-year inflation (3.08 percent)

The component of price policy by the government is quite influential on inflation in Palangka Raya (0.62 percent) and Sampit (0.73 percent)
