Abstract

During March 2017, Palangkaraya and Sampit have inflation amount 0,39 and 0,92 percent.
  • Among 82 sample city that monitoring for national IHK (Indeks Harga Konsumen/ Consumer Price Index), 33 city have inflation and 49 have deflation. The highest inflation happened in Merauke amount 1,24 percent and highest deflation in Tanjung Pandan amount 1,49 percent.
  • Inflation of Palangkaraya and Sampit each of them was 0,39 percent and 0,92 percent, it placed on ranking 9 and 4 for high inflation city compare the rest.
  •  The inflation of Palangkaraya mainly effected by the increased of price index in foods material(0,74 percent), housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (0,60 percent), and foods, drinks, cigarette and tobacco (0,55 percent).
  • The inflation of Sampit mainly effected by the increased of price index in foods material (1,48 percent), transportation, communication, and finance service (1,38 percent), housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (0,95 percent).
  • The inflation/deflation in Kalimantan Tengah is the result of combining two city (Palangkaraya and Sampit). During Maret 2017, the inflation reach 0,58 percent with the calendar inflation amount 1,73 percent. Yearly inflation growth amount 4,10  percent.
  • The inflation/deflation in nine city of Kalimantan were Sampit (0,92 percent), Tarakan (0,40 percent), Palangkaraya (0,39 percent),  Samarinda (0,28 percent), Tanjung (0,21 percent), Banjarmasin (0,01 percent),  Balikpapan (-0,03 percent), Singkawang (-0,13 percent), and Pontianak (- 0,26 percent).
