Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's NTP rose 1.05 points, from 97.70 percent (November 2019) to 98.75 percent (December 2019). This was influenced by an increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder estate crops (1.64 points), horticulture (1.07 points), food crops (0.92 points), and livestock (0.44 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose 1.70 points, higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which amounted to 0.30 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries subsector (110.40 percent) followed by horticulture (110.39 percent), livestock (103.88 percent), food crops (96.02 percent), and smallholder plantations (90.95 percent).
  • Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) also rose 1.23 points, from 105.96 percent (November 2019) to 107.19 percent (December 2019).
  • The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in rural areas is 137.39 percent or 0.25 percent inflation occurs, followed by calendar year inflation rate and year-on-year inflation (2.73 percent) which is quite low. There was an increase in the price index in all groups of household expenditure.
