Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's NTP rose 0.36 points, from 96.09 percent (March 2019) to 96.45 percent (April 2019). This was influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder plantation subsector (1.15 points), livestock (0.67 points), and horticulture (0.46 points).
  • The farmers' price index (It) rose by 0.90 points, higher than the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which also rose 0.45 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries sub-sector (110.03 percent), followed by horticulture (104.07 percent), livestock (102.82 percent), food crops (94.17 percent), and smallholder plantations (89.34 percent).
  • The Agricultural Household Exchange Rate (NTUP) rose 0.63 points, from 103.86 percent (March 2019) to 104.49 percent (April 2019).
  • Household Consumption Index (SCE) in rural areas is 135.47 percent or inflation of 0.39 percent, which is followed by the inflation rate of the calendar year (1.29 percent) and the year-on-year inflation rate (3.43 percent). The increase in the price index occurs in all expenditure groups.
