Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's NTP rose 0.97 points, from 94.64 percent (January 2019) to 95.61 percent (February 2019). This was influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder plantation subsector (2.52 points), food crops (1.05 points), and fisheries (0.23 points)
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose 0.99 points, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) fell 0.30 points
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries sub-sector (109.44 percent), followed by horticulture (102.84 percent), livestock (102.37 percent), food crops (95.49 percent), and smallholder plantations (86.85 percent)
  • The Exchange of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) rose 0.64 points, from 102.60 percent (January 2019) to 103.24 percent (February 2019)
  • The Household Consumption Index (SCE) in rural areas is 134.40 percent or deflation of 0.31 percent, followed by the inflation rate of the calendar year (0.49 percent) and the year-on-year inflation rate (4.06 percent). Deflation was affected by a decline in the foodstuffs group price index (0.96 percent) and clothing (0.01 percent).
