Abstract

ITK Kalimantan Tengah in quarter III-2018 amounted to 106.65, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers in quarter III-2018 increased compared to the previous quarter. Consumer optimism in quarter III-2018 was lower than quarter II-2018 (ITK value of 118.11)

The improvement in consumer economic conditions in the third quarter of 2018 was mainly driven by current income (index value of 104.04), consumption level (index value of 107.53), and the effect of inflation on consumption (index value of 110.87)

The value of ITK in Kalimantan Tengah in the fourth quarter of 2018 is estimated at 107.90, which means that the economic conditions of consumers are expected to increase. Consumer optimism is estimated to be higher than quarter III-2018 (ITK value of 106.65)

Estimates of the improving condition of the consumer economy in the coming quarter were mainly triggered by increased household income (index value of 107.98) and purchases of durable goods (index value of 107.76)
