Abstract

The number of passengers via sea transportation rose 6.97 percent from 69,259 people (June 2018) to 74,085 people (July 2018)
  • The flow of goods traffic by sea rose 5.87 percent from 1.23 million tons (June 2018) to 1.30 million tons (July 2018). The increase occurs in the volume of cargo loading (19.33 percent)
  • Flight frequency dropped 7.32 percent from 2,255 flights (June 2018) to only 2,090 flights (July 2018)
  • The number of passengers through air transportation rose 7.25 percent from 187,501 people (June 2018) to 201,091 people (July 2018)
  • Air traffic by air rose 11.87 percent from 1,980 tons (June 2018) to 2,215 tons (July 2018). The increase came from the volume of unloading goods (28.30 percent)
  • Through the seaport, passenger activity (57.76 percent) and goods (51.61 percent) are dominated in Sampit. Whereas through the airport, it was dominated by Tjilik Riwut both passenger activities (44.53 percent) and volume of goods (49.89 percent)
