Economic Kalimantan Tengah Quarter 1 Year 2018 Grows 4.62 Percent

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah Quarter I-2018 economy measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of the applicable price reached Rp33,918.1 billion and on the basis of constant 2010 reached Rp23,368.1 billion.

Kalimantan Tengah economy in Q1 / 2018 against Q1 / 2017 (y-on-y) grew 4.62 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity Procurement Category and Gas that grew 9.97 percent, only Category of Mines and a contractionary excavation. From the expenditure side growth is driven by all components. Growth the highest attained by the growing Non-Profit Household Consumer Outlaying Consumption (LNPRT) by 11.07 percent, followed by Capital Formation Components Gross Fixed (PMTB) of 6.77 percent and Imports of 5.23 percent.

The economy of Kalimantan Tengah was quarter I-2018 against the quarter IV-2017 (q-to-q) grew 2.31 percent. From the production side the highest growth was achieved by the Transport Category and Warehousing grew 18.96 percent, while Category Construction; Financial Services; Real Estate; and Administration Governance, Defense and Social Security are required to experience contraction. While in terms of growth expenditure the highest achieved by the 8.98 growing Export Component percent, while the Consumption Spending Component Government (PKP) and PMTB contracted.

The spatial structure of Kalimantan's economy in Q1 / 2018 is still dominated by Kalimantan Timur Province of 52.36 percent. Kalimantan Tengah Province is ranked fourth with contribution of 11.43 percent.
