Abstract

Total export value rose 21.74 percent from US $ 134.04 million (February 2018) to US $ 163.18 million (March 2018).

Mineral fuel is still a commodity exports (US $ 113.05 million), or 69.28 percent of total exports.

Japan is a major export destination country (US $ 73.68 million), or 45.15 percent of total exports.

Kumai dominates the export commodity loading service (US $ 12.67 million), or 7.76 percent of total exports.

Cumulatively, the total export value fell 8.41 percent from US $ 558.50 million (January-March 2017) to US $ 511.52 million (January-March 2018).

The import value jumped to 1,613.64 percent from US $ 0.88 million (February 2018) to US $ 15.08 million (March 2018). But cumulatively (January-March), the value slumped 18.52 percent.

Foreign trade balance was a surplus of US $ 148.10 million (March 2018) and US $ 487.10 million (January-March 2018).
