Abstract

The number of sea transport passengers fell by 3.43 percent from 12,944 people (February 2018) to 12,500 (March 2018).

Traffic flow of goods through the sea was 1.40 million tons, up 14.12 percent compared to the previous month. The increase occurred in the volume of goods loading (23.70 percent).

Flight frequency increased 16.31 percent from 1,894 flights (February 2018) to 2,203 flights (March 2018).

The number of air transport passengers increased 9.80 percent from 150,133 people (February 2018) to 164,842 people (March 2018).

Traffic flow of goods through the air was recorded at 1,908 tons, up 17.49 percent compared to the previous month. The increase came from the unloading volume of goods (21.31 percent) and goods loading (10.47 percent).

Through seaports, the activity of passengers is dominated in Kumai (67.22 percent) and goods in Sampit (47.69 percent). While through the air port, dominated by Tjilik Riwut both passenger activity (50.09 percent) and goods (55.35 percent).
