Abstract

In September 2017, the rate of inequality of population expenditure of Kalimantan Tengah as measured by Gini Ratio was of 0.327. This figure decreases by 0.016 points if compared to Gini Ratio in March 2017 of 0.343. Meanwhile, when compared with Gini Ratio September 2016 of 0.347 fell by 0.020 points.

Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2017 was recorded of 0.343, down compared to Gini Ratio in March 2017 of 0.370 and Gini Ratio of September 2016 which amounted to 0.364. Meanwhile, Gini Ratio in rural areas in September 2017 was recorded at 0.303, down compared to Gini March 2017 Ratio of 0.310, and September Gini Ratio 2016 which is 0.326.

In September 2017, the distribution of expenditure in group 40 the lowest percentage is 20.01 percent. Meaning population expenditure is in the level category low inequality. If itemized by region, either at urban and rural areas of each number recorded at 18.66 percent and 21.42 percent, which means fall into the category of low inequality.
