Abstract

The number of sea freight passengers rose 0.67 percent from 16,872 people (November 2017) to 16,985 people (December 2017).
Traffic flow of goods by sea was recorded at 0.66 million tons, down 52.78 percent compared to the previous month. The decrease occurred in goods loading volume (61.31 percent) and unloading of goods (27.63 percent).
Flight frequency rose 0.65 percent, from 2,007 flights (November 2007) to 2,020 flights (December 2017).
The number of air transport passengers increased by 5.82 percent from 165,277 people (November 2017) to 174,904 people (December 2017).
The flow of goods traffic through the air was recorded 1949 tons, up 10.10 percent compared to the previous month. The increase came from unloading volume of goods (5.62 percent) and goods loading (19.26 percent).
The highest contribution of sea freight traffic is dominated by Kumai port, seen from passenger activity (72.92 percent) and goods (75.22 percent). Through the airport, dominated by Tjilik Riwut based on passenger activity (51.52 percent) and goods (57.25 percent).
