Abstract

Farmer Terms of Trade /  NTP of Central Kalimantan Province rose 0.04 point from 99.12 percent (November 2017) to 99.16 percent (December 2017). This is influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of livestock sub-sector (0.94 points), food crops (0.51 points), fisheries (0.24 points), and smallholder plantation (0.13 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose 1.05 points, higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which amounted to 1.01 points.
  • The highest NTP occurred in the fishery sub-sector (108.51 percent), while the lowest NTP in the plantation crops sub-sector (95.49 percent).
  • Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) also rose 0.85 points from 105.25 percent (November 2017) to 106.10 percent (December 2017).
  • Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 128.01 percent or inflation 1.00 percent in rural areas. An increase in the price index occurs in all household expenditure groups.
