Abstract

During September 2017, total exports rose US $ 27.77 million to US $ 144.45 million, or 23.80 percent compared to the previous month.
  • Animal / vegetable fats & oils are the most important export commodities worth US $ 58.35 million, or 40.39 percent of total exports.
  • Japan is the main export destination for US $ 45.12 million, or 31.24 percent of total exports.
  • Sampit Port contribution reached US $ 46.42 million, or 32.14 percent of total exports.
  • During January-September 2017, total exports rose US $ 756.89 million to US $ 1,398.07 million, or 118.05 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
  • In the same period, total imports were only US $ 10.16 million (September 2017) and U $ 53.72 million (January-December 2017).
  • Trade balance with all trading partner countries was a surplus of US $ 133.89 million (September 2017) and US $ 1,344.35 million (January-September 2017).
