Abstract

Farmers' Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) for Kalimantan Tengah during September 2017 was 98.54 percent, increased 1.29 percent compared to NTP in August 2017. This was influenced by the increase of NTP subsector of smallholder plantation crops (3.87 percent), fishery (0.29 percent), food crops (0.24 percent), and livestock (0.03 percent).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose 0.92 percent, but the price index paid by farmers (Ib) slumped 0.70 percent. Farmers category includes farmers and fishermen.
  • The highest NTP occurred in the fisheries subsector of 107.86 percent, while the lowest NTP occurred in the plantation crops subsector of 95.18 percent.
  • Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) September 2017 of 105.33 percent, up 0.75 percent compared to August 2017 which amounted to 104.58 percent.
  • Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 127.33 or 0.71 percent deflation in rural areas. Increased ndex prices occur in all expenditure groups except food and health groups.
