In January 2012, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was 99.44 percent or declined
0.17 percent compared to NTP December 2011. This is due to the rise in the price index
received by farmers by 0.58 percent less with an increase in the price index paid
farmers by 0.75 percent.
Viewed from 5 (five) subsectors, there are 4 (four) sub-sectors Agriculture has decreased NTP,
namely Food Crops sub-sector decreased by 0.14 percent, Horticulture subsector decreased by
0.75 percent, Livestock subsector fell 0.42 percent and fisheries subsector fell by 0.33
percent, while the sub-sector of Plantation Plantation (TPR) rose by 0.61 percent.
In January 2012, the price index received by farmers (IT) rose 0.58 percent compared with
IT December 2011. IT improvements are due to the increase of IT in 5 subsectors,
namely Food Crops sub-sector rose 0.61 percent, Horticulture subsector rose by 0.06
percent, the sub-sector of Plantation (TPR) increased by 1.40 percent, sub-sector
Livestock rose 0.21 percent and fisheries subsector rose by 0.33 percent.
Price index paid by farmers (IB) In January 2012 rose 0.75 percent compared
December 2011, this increase is due to the increase of IB in 5 subsectors, ie
Food Crops sub-sector rose 0.75 percent, Horticulture subsector rose 0.82 percent, sub-sector
People's Plantation (TPR) rose 0.78 percent, Livestock subsector rose by 0.63
percent and fisheries subsector rose by 0.66 percent.
Changes in Household consumption index (KRT) reflects the rate of Inflation / Deflation at
Rural areas. In January 2012 there was inflation of 0.91 percent. This increase
caused by the Foodstuffs group rose by 1.07 percent, the Foods So group
rose 0.68 percent, Housing group rose 0.73 percent, Sandang group rose 0.94 percent,
Health group rose 0.72 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports group rose 0.69
percent and the Transportation & Communications group rose by 0.37 percent.
In January 2012, the national NTP was 105.73 percent or down 0.02 percent compared to the month
December 2011. This is because the price index received by farmers rose 0.63 percent,
less than the increase in price paid by farmers by 0.65
percent.
