In May 2012, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was 99.58 percent, down 0.16
percent compared to NTP April 2012. This is due to the rise in the price index received
farmers rose by 0.31 percent less than the increase in the price index paid by farmers ie
of 0.47 percent.
Viewed from 5 (five) subsectors, there are 4 (four) sub-sectors Agriculture has decreased NTP,
namely the Food Crops sub-sector decreased by 0.32 percent, the Hortikulrura subsector fell by
0.44 percent and Livestock subsector fell 0.34 percent and the Fisheries Sub-sector decreased by
0.26. While sub-sectors that experienced an increase is the Plantation Crops Subsector
People (TPR) are up by 0.70 percent.
In May 2012, the price index received by farmers (IT) rose by 0.31 percent compared
with IT in April 2012. The increase in IT is due to the increase of IT on 4
(four) agricultural sub-sectors. Food Crops Subsector rose 0.20 percent, Horticulture Subsector
rose by 0.10 percent, Subsector Plantation Plantation (TPR) rose 1.10 percent and
Fisheries subsector rose by 0.27 percent. While IT in the sub-sector of Livestock down
by 0.08 percent.
The price index paid by farmers (IB) in May 2012 rose by 0.47 percent compared to April
2012. This increase is due to the increase of IB in the 5 subsectors of the Crop sub-sector
Food rose 0.52 percent, Horticulture subsector fell 0.54 percent, the Crop sub-sector
People's Plantation (TPR) rose 0.40 percent, Livestock subsector rose by 0.26 percent and
Fisheries subsector rose by 0.52 percent.
Changes in Household Consumption Index (KRT) reflects the Inflation / Deflation figures in the region
Rural. In May 2012 there was an increase of 0.54 percent. This increase is caused by
the Foodstuffs group increased by 0.72 percent, So Food group rose 0.42
percent, Housing group rose 0.14 percent, Sandang group rose 0.43 percent, the group
Health rose 0.37 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports group rose by 0.24 percent
and Transportation & Communications group rose by 0.42 percent.
In May 2012, the National NTP was 104.77 percent or up 0.06 percent compared to the month
April 2012. This is because the price index received by farmers rose 0.34 percent,
while the price paid by farmers rose by 0.28 percent.
