In March 2012, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was 99.85 percent or up 0.10
percent compared to NTP February 2012. This is due to the rise in the price index
received farmers rose by 0.54 percent greater than the increase in the price index paid
farmers that is equal to 0.44 percent.
Viewed from 5 (five) subsectors, there are 3 (three) sub-sectors Agriculture has increased NTP,
namely the Horticulture subsector rose by 0.62 percent, the sub-sector of Plantation Plantation
(TPR) rose by 0.86 percent and the fisheries sub-sector rose 0.09 percent. While the sub-sector
which decreased were Food Crops Sub-sector decreased by 0.36 percent and
the Livestock subsector was down by 0.18 percent.
In March 2012, the price index received by farmers (IT) rose by 0.54 percent compared
with IT in February 2012. The increase in IT is due to the increase of IT on
the five agricultural sub-sectors. Food Crops Subsector rose 0.16 percent, Horticulture Subsector
rose by 1.11 percent, Subsector Plantation Plantation (TPR) rose 1.23 percent,
Livestock subsector rose 0.02 percent and fisheries subsector rose by 0.41 percent.
The price index paid by farmers (IB) In March rose by 0.44 percent compared to February
2012. This increase is due to the increase of IB in the 5 subsectors of the Crop sub-sector
Food rose 0.52 percent, Horticulture subsector rose 0.48 percent, plantation estate subsector
People (TPR) rose 0.37 percent, Livestock subsector rose by 0.20 percent and sub-sector
Fisheries rose by 0.31 percent.
Changes in Household Consumption Index (KRT) reflects the Inflation / Deflation figures in the region
Rural. In March 2012 there was an increase of 0.48 percent. This increase is caused by
the Foodstuffs group increased by 0.54 percent, the Foods Soared group by 0.33
percent, Housing group rose 0.76 percent, Sandang group rose 0.07 percent, the group
Health rose 0.20 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports group rose 0.06 percent and
Transportation & Communications group rose by 0.58 percent.
In March 2012, the National NTP was 104.68 percent or decreased 0.40 percent compared to the month
February 2012. This is because the price index received by farmers fell 0.22 percent,
while the price paid by farmers rose by 0.18 percent.
