Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product according to expenditure (GRDP Expenditure) is one form of displaying economic data for a region, in addition to other forms of display such as GRDP by business field, Input-Output Table, Socio-Economic Balance System, and Fund Flow Balance. In a region's economic data framework system, GRDP Expenditure is a basic measure that describes the use of goods and services (products) produced through production activities. In this context, GRDP expenditure describes the "final" results of the production process that takes place within the territorial boundaries of a region. These various types of final goods and services will be used to meet final demand by domestic economic actors as well as economic actors from outside the region and even from abroad. Several important aggregates can be derived from GRDP expenditure, such as final consumption expenditure variables, gross fixed capital formation or physical investment, as well as exports and imports.
Through this approach, people's behavior in using income can be known, whether only for consumption purposes (final) or also for investment purposes (physical). Apart from that, it can also be seen how large the regional (domestic) economy is dependent on foreign countries in the form of international trade (external transactions). The difference between exports and imports is also referred to as “net exports”. Like Production GRDP, from Expenditure GRDP can also be derived various aggregate data about the regional economy such as nominal value, structure or distribution of final consumption expenditure, "real" growth, and implicit price index. The data in question is available both for each component of GRDP Expenditure and for the total economy.
