Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in August 2024 increased by 0.50 percent compared to July 2024, namely from 125.09 to 125.72. This increase was dominated by an increase in the exchange rate in one subsector, namely People's Plantation Crops (0.97 percent).
In August 2024, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in of Kalimantan Tengah Province by 0.62 percent, which was mainly caused by a decrease in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (1.22 percent) and the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group. (0.05 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in August 2024 decreased by 0.20 percent, from 128.91 (July 2024) to 128.65 (August 2024).
