May 2024: The number of air transportation passengers during May 2024 decreased by 14.93 percent compared to April 2024

●     Flight frequency in May 2024 decreased by 12.70 percent compared to April 2024, from 1,307 flights to 1,141 flights.

●     The number of air transport passengers fell by 14.93 percent, from 123,819 people (April 2024) to 105,328 people (May 2024).

●     Goods traffic using air transportation fell by 5.69 percent, from 2,128 tons (April 2024) to 2,007 tons (May 2024).

●     The frequency of visits by ships at ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 18.22 percent, from 697 visits (April 2024) to 824 visits (May 2024).

●     The number of sea transportation passengers fell by 31.60 percent, from 81,902 people (April 2024) to 56,024 people (May 2024).

●     Goods traffic using sea transportation increased by 65.27 percent, from 1.32 million tonnes (April 2024) to 2.19 million tonnes (May 2024).

●     During May 2024, sea transport passenger activity is concentrated at Kumai Port (73.15 percent), while goods flows are concentrated at Pulang Pisau Port (38.14 percent).
