Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah Province's NTP rose 0.06 points, from 96.56 percent (May 2019) to 96.62 percent (June 2019). This is influenced by the increase in the exchange rate of the fisheries subsector (1.00 points), horticulture (0.89 points), and food crops (0.63 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) rose 0.53 points, higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.46 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries sub-sector (111.72 percent) followed by horticulture (104.97 percent), livestock (102.62 percent), food crops (94.04 percent), and smallholder plantations (89.26 percent).
  • The Agricultural Household Exchange Rate (NTUP) rose 0.38 points, from 104.96 percent (May 2019) to 105.34 percent (June 2019).
  • Household Consumption Index (SCE) in rural areas amounted to 137.24 percent or inflation of 0.42 percent, followed by the inflation rate of the calendar year (2.62 percent) and year-on-year inflation rate (3.47 percent). The increase in the price index occurred in all expenditure groups, except housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel.
