During August 2017, Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) amounted to 97.25 Percent, Rural Inflation occurred in the Region of 0.02 Percent.

Abstract

❖ Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) Central Kalimantan Province during August 2017 of 97.25 percent, up 0.77 percent compared to July 2017 NTP. This is due to the increase in NTP of all subsectors, namely smallholders (1.35 percent) livestock (0.93 percent), horticulture (0.63 percent), fisheries (0.19 percent), and food crops (0.18 percent).

❖ The price index received by farmers (It) rose 1.05 percent, higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.02 percent.

❖ The highest NTP occurred in the fishery subsector of 107.57 percent, while the lowest NTP occurred in the subsector of plantation crops 91.31 percent.

❖ Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of 104.58 percent, up 0.71 percent compared to July 2017 which amounted to 103.87 percent.

❖ Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 128.24 or 0.02 percent inflation in rural areas. An increase in the price index occurs in all expenditure groups except foodstuffs
