Abstract

During December 2016, The number of sea and air transportation passengers reach 21,842 and 154.573 passengers.

The number of sea transportation is 21.842 person, increased 41,64 percent than the previous month that was 15.421 person.
The goods traffic flow by sea transportation amount 1,22 million ton, minus 1,68 percent than a month ago. This caused by unload and load volume which were amount 5,27 and 0,68 percent.
Flight frequency increase 8,70 percent, from 1.805 in November 2016 then 1.962 flights in December 2016.
The number of air transportation aim 154.573 passengers, increased 14,66 percent than before that only 134.810 passengers.
The goods traffic flow by airport was recorded amount 1.831 ton, increased 17,35 percent than the previous month. This was effected by unload and load volume that increased amount 11,73 percent and 28,75 percent.
The passengers and goods traffic flow by sea transportation dominated by Kumai harbour and Sampit that each of them have 58,96 percent and 45,43 percent. Besides, the passengers and goods traffic flow by air transportation dominated by Tjilik Riwut airport and Iskandar Pangkalan Bun Airport that each of them have 53,09 percent and 57,94 percent
