Development of Farmer's Exchange Rate April 2014

In April 2014, the Central Kalimantan Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) was recorded at 102.27, a decrease of 0.21 percent compared to March 2014 recorded at 102.49. This is due to the increase in the price index received by farmers by 0.15 percent smaller than the increase in the price index paid by farmers by 0.36 percent.

Based on five subsectors, three sub-sectors of agriculture that experienced a decrease of NTP, namely Food Crops sub-sector by 1.05 percent, Sub-sector of Smallholder Plantation (TPR) experienced by 0.43 percent and Livestock sub-sector decreased by 0.01 percent. While the other two sub-sectors experienced an increase of NTP that is Horticulture sub-sector which rose by 0.97 percent and fisheries sub-sector decreased by 0.79 percent.

Fisherman Exchange (NTN) Central Kalimantan in April 2014 amounted to 103.86 or increased by 0.79 percent compared to March 2014 which amounted to 103.04 percent. When viewed from the classification, the Fishery Exchange Rate, in April 2014 increased by 0.76 percent compared to March2014 and the Aquaculture Exchange Rate increased by 0.86 percent. While the exchange rate of Central Kalimantan Fishless Farmers in April 2014 of 102.16 decreased by 0.28 percent compared to March which amounted to 102.44.

The Central Agricultural Trade Exchange (NTUP) of Central Kalimantan in April 2014 was recorded at 106.45 or decreased by 0.18 percent compared to the March 2014 index of 106.64. While the Farmer's Fishery Trade Rate in April 2014 of 106.35 decreased 0.26 percent compared to March 2014 which amounted to 106.62.

In April 2014, the National NTP of 101.80 grew by 0.06 percent compared to March 2014. This is due to the price index received by farmers down by 0.05 whereas the price index paid by farmers rose by 0.01 percent. NTP without Fishery of 101.76 decreased by 0.07 percent compared to March 2014. NTUP April 2014 was recorded at 105.07 or decreased by 0.22 percent compared to March 2014. While NTUP Without Fish in April of 105.05 decreased by 0.23 percent compared to March 2014.
