The Development of Farmer's Exchange Rate November 2013

Abstract

  • In December 2013, Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) began to use a new base year of 2012 = 100. In December 2013 the Central Kalimantan NTP was 102.41, an increase of one percent compared to November's NTP of 101.40. This is due to the farmer's accepted price index of 1.41 percentage points higher than the increase in the index paid by farmers which rose by 0.40 percent.
  • Viewed from five sub-sectors, three agriculture sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP, ie Food Crops sub-sector which increased by 0.96 percent, Sub-sector of Smallholder Plantation (TPR) increased by 2.73 percent and Livestock sub-sector rose by 0.01 percent. While the other two sub-sectors experienced a decrease of the Horticulture subsector decreased 1.22 percent and Fisheries fell by 0.11 percent.
  • In December 2013 it also raised the calculation of NTP without the Fisherman Exchange (NTN). This means that the NTP value involves only four subsectors without the fisheries sub-sector. NTP without Central Kalimantan fishery in December 2013 was 99.81 or up by 0.82 percent compared to November 2013 which was only 99.00 percent.
  • Fisherman Exchange (NTN) itself is broken down into NTN Capture Fisheries and NTN Aquaculture. In December 2013, NTN Capture Fisheries was 105.17 percent or an increase of 0.32 compared to November 2013 which was 104.83 percent. While NTN Aquaculture of 96.19 percent decreased by 1.01 percent compared to November 2013 which amounted to 97.17 percent.
  • December 2013 raises Agricultural Trade Exchange Rate is a comparison of the index received by farmers with Production Cost and Capital Addition without entering Household Consumption as the divisor. The combined exchange rate of the Agricultural Enterprises in December 2013 of 106.14 percent increased by 1.03 percent compared to November 2013 of 105.05 percent. Meanwhile, Farmer Trade without Fishery in December amounted to 101.76, up 1.02 percent compared to November 2013 which amounted to 100.73 percent.
  • In December 2013, the National NTP was 101.96 percent or up by 0.15 percent compared to November 2013. This is because the farmer's price index rose by 0.47 percentage points higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers who increased by 0 , 33 percent. NTP without Fisheries of 101.94 percent rose by 0.16 percent compared to November 2013. As for the Agricultural Enterprises Exchange Rate of 104.55 percent increased by 0.29 percent compared to November 2013.
