The Consumer Price Survey is a price survey of transactions that occurs between the seller (retailer and buyer (consumer), based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), the CPI changes from time to time indicate the price movement of the package of goods and services consumed by household.

The purpose of this survey is to obtain a complete, accurate and timely customer price data as a material for the preparation of consumer price index and to meet data and information needs in order to support national development.

Sampit City is one of two regions in Central Kalimantan Province that conducts the Consumer Price Survey.
